The Aravaipa Watershed Conservation Alliance is based in Arizona. Their mission is to  preserve and sustain the Aravaipa Valley by means of watershed and rangeland restoration.

They wanted a modern logo that could work in full color as well as black & white to accommodate ink stamps and for easier printing. There were several other organizations with a strong presence that they did not want to be mistaken for so that affected color & graphic choice too.
